SENIOR PROGRAMMER
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop web applications to be used in both intranet and internet environments
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications
  • Use program specifications to prepare the logic sequence of program source statements in the development, modification, documentation, and maintenance of programs
  • Convert and assist in of the implementation of new systems or upgrading existing systems
  • Provide technical assistance as required
  • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis
  • Advice and work with others to resolve specific problems or make changes in programs, computer applications, capabilities, alternative programming approaches, limitations, etc.
  • Mentor those with less experience through informal channels
  • Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work
  • Responsible for Successful Planning and Follow Through Aimed At Profitable, High Quality and Timely Completion of Projects.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive experience with either Cache (M) or ASP.Net (C# or VB.Net)
  • Knowledge of database design methods and support utilities
  • Knowledge of application development environments and related tools
  • Graduation from college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field and minimum of (3) years of experience in programming and systems design OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Proficiency in Cache (M) programming
  • 3+ years* experience within the software industry
  • Familiarity with Web Based Applications, Web Services and Windows Services.
  • Good Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX, WEB 2.0, Java Script, XML/XSLT, Threading.
